Volunteer Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without any pay or compensation of any kind, and without liability of any nature on behalf of Animal Rescue of the Rockies and that all services will be performed at my own risk. I recognize that when handling animals and performing other volunteer tasks there exists a risk of injury, including physical harm, caused by the animals. On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and executors, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Animal Rescue of the Rockies, its agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands, of any nature or cause, including costs and attorney’s fees incurred in connection with the same, based on damages or injuries which may be incurred or sustained by me in any way connected with my services to Animal Rescue of the Rockies, including but not limited to animal bites, accidents, or injuries. I agree to specifically assume sole responsibility for, and agree to indemnify and hold Animal Rescue of the Rockies harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) for any reason imposed upon Animal Rescue of the Rockies or any of its officers, directors, members, employees, representatives, agents, or assigns because of bodily injuries or death to any person or persons including Volunteer or those in the Volunteer’s household, or any damage to property and/or animals arising out of, or in consequence of, the placement of an animal howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property and/or animals may be caused, whether or not the same may have been caused, or may be alleged to have been caused, by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their directors, members, employees, representatives, agents, or assigns or any other person. I agree on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and executors to allow Animal Rescue of the Rockies to use any photographs or videos taken of me for use in public relations or marketing efforts.

By signing below, I, being the parent or legal guardian of the volunteer who is under the age of 18, hereby give my consent to allow my (son, daughter, ward) to perform volunteer services for the Animal Rescue of the Rockies. I fully understand and acknowledge that his/her services are to be performed subject to all the rules and regulations of Animal Rescue of the Rockies, that violations thereof shall be cause for immediate dismissal of all services, and that all services performed by my (son, daughter, ward) are strictly voluntary, without pay or compensation or any sort and without liability of any nature on behalf of Animal Rescue of the Rockies. I further acknowledge that all services are performed at his/her own risk. I am also aware that any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while volunteering with Animal Rescue of the Rockies. On behalf of myself, my (son, daughter, ward), my heirs, my personal representatives or administrators, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Animal Rescue of the Rockies, its agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands, or any nature or cause, including costs and attorney’s fees incurred by Animal Rescue of the Rockies in connection with the same, based on damages or injuries which may be incurred or sustained by him/her in any way connected with his/her services for Animal Rescue of the Rockies, including but not limited to animal bites, accidents, or injuries. I agree on behalf of myself, my (son, daughter, ward), my heirs, my personal representatives or administrators, to allow Animal Rescue of the Rockies to use any photographs or videos taken of me or my (son, daughter, ward) for use in public relations or marketing efforts. I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of the foregoing volunteer agreement and that I will comply with the same.
