Cat Adoption Application

Cat Adoption Requirements:

• If you can no longer keep your pet after adopting, you agree to contact Animal Rescue of the Rockies to coordinate rehoming and agree not to take the pet to a shelter.  
• Your cat is microchipped, and you agree to keep us informed of any address changes if you move to a new home.  This helps us locate you should your pet ever become lost.
• You must be 21 years or older to adopt a cat from Animal Rescue of the Rockies.
• If you rent, we’ll need a letter from your landlord stating you’re allowed to adopt this pet, including your landlord’s contact information.
• You agree to keep the cat(s) you are adopting indoors unless they are safely contained in an outdoor enclosure designed to keep them from escaping and to keep other critters out.
• You agree never to declaw the cat(s) you are adopting.

Please note:  No adoption is final until the pet is spayed or neutered and the adoption fee has been paid.  A home visit needs to be completed and approved within 1 week of adoption.  If the home visit is not approved, ARR reserves the right to take the pet back into our care for the pet’s safety.
