Nemo crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in July 2021 after spending many happy years with Marjon Pekelharing and Govert Koetsier and their large pet family in Berthoud, Colorado. He originally came into ARR from a shelter where he was cowering in his kennel, scared of everything and everyone. With lots of TLC from Marjon and Govert, he learned to be very happy and enjoyed being outdoors, going on long hikes, and loving life in general. With age, his health had declined, and a recent stroke complicated things. Nemo passed peacefully surrounded by love. He’ll be missed greatly but remembered always with happiness.
